Ginny L. Robert is a small business writer, trainer, and mentor. She writes and publishes business planning workbooks, develops business plans, and provides comprehensive training and coaching to startup and existing small businesses.

She specializes in designing and delivering small business training programs, in conjunction with one-to-one coaching, to thousands of dislocated workers, women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, and others interested in self-employment. She has delivered these training programs throughout New York State, with a successful start up rate of 49%, well above the national average of 35%.

Ginny has written two small business planning workbooks: Let’s Write Your Business Plan and Building Your Future in Self-Employment. Originally written in 1988 and 2010, both workbooks were revised and updated in 2021 and are in their 10th and 3rd editions, respectively. The workbooks are used by individuals as self-directed guides and also by organizations that provide entrepreneurial training and advising.
