For New Businesses. For Exisiting Small Businesses. For Organizations Assisting Businesses.
Ginny Robert has been designing and delivering short and long-term small business training programs for more than 30 years.
These programs have been designed for dislocated workers, minorities, women, individuals with disabilities, economically disadvantaged individuals, and others interested in self-employment.
Her highly effective training programs range from one-hour keynote addresses to multi-session courses. These programs are custom designed to meet your needs and fit your budget.
One-to-one counseling is provided in conjunction with many of these programs.
Ginny’s popular and highly effective workbooks, Let’s Write Your Business Plan and Building Your Future in Self-Employment, are used as the training materials.
These custom training programs have been designed and delivered for economic development agencies, SCORE, SBDC, community colleges, and universities. Because of their practical approach, they have resulted in a 49% successful start up record – well-above the national norm of 35%.
Every employer in New York State is required to adopt a sexual harassment prevention policy. An employer that does not use the model policy must ensure that the policy that they adopt meets or exceeds the New York State minimum standards.
Ginny offers a specialized training program for existing New York State businesses that meets all New York State Sexual Harassment Prevention standards.
For organizations that prefer to deliver programs themselves, train-the-trainer services are available also.
I participated in the training program at SUNY-Broome and found it to be a very well-organized, highly effective course. Ginny's enthusiasm and plethora of ideas and tips made the class a joy, and her technical assistance was invaluable.
I would highly recommend Ginny Robert to anyone looking to establish, improve, and get a jump on starting a business of their own. Ginny's constant support and willingness to listen and advise are tremendous. That's something you won't find in other teachers.

Ginny was a big help getting the first few steps under my belt, but more than that, she honed in on what I was good at and what I love. She has been proactive on my behalf, encouraging me, helping with product sampling, and giving me new ideas and timely advice.
Ginny provided much needed support and encouragement in making my decision to start a business. She has been a consistently good influence and source of information and advice.
